Tonnerre Yaounde

Tonnerre Kalara Club of Yaoundé is a professional football club based in Yaoundé, Cameroon. The club was most prominent during the 1980s, winning all of their 5 national championships. They have also won the national cup 5 times. Among the club's most notable players have been the African player of the Century Roger Milla, Rigobert Song and the former FIFA World Player of the Year George Weah.

Tonnerre Yaoundé er en camerounsk fodboldklub med base i hovedstaden Yaoundé. Klubben blev grundlagt i 1934 og er en af de mest succesrige klubber i Camerouns historie. Tonnerre Yaoundé har vundet det camerounske mesterskab 5 gange og Coupe du Cameroun 6 gange.

Klubben har også opnået succes på det internationale plan og har spillet flere kampe i CAF Champions League og CAF Cup. I 1998 nåede Tonnerre Yaoundé kvartfinalerne i African Cup of Champions Clubs (nu CAF Champions League).

Tonnerre Yaoundé er kendt for sin offensive spillestil og har produceret flere talentfulde spillere gennem årene, herunder Jacques Songo'o, Roger Milla og Joseph-Antoine Bell.
