Artsul Futebol Clube

Artsul Futebol Clube, usually known simply as Artsul, is a Brazilian football team from the city of Nova Iguaçu in the state of Rio de Janeiro, founded on 19 June 2001. It is part of the Grupo Artsul, a company specialising in concrete.

The greatest success of the team has been the second place in the third division of the Rio de Janeiro state championship in 2002. Alemão, who played between 2004 and 2007 for the first division clubs Coritiba FC and SE Palmeiras as well as in Japan and Francisco Anderson Huaiquipán, are probably the best known players that came from the ranks of the club.

Artsul Futebol Clube er en brasiliansk fodboldklub beliggende i Nova Hartz, Rio Grande do Sul-staten. Klubben blev grundlagt den 10. december 1992 og spiller i øjeblikket i Campeonato Gaúcho Série A2, den næstbedste række i delstaten Rio Grande do Sul.

Artsul har haft moderat succes i delstatsligaerne og har vundet Campeonato Gaúcho Série B to gange, i 2008 og 2019. Klubben har også nået finalen i Campeonato Gaúcho Série A2 tre gange, men har endnu ikke vundet turneringen.

Artsul er kendt for sin ungdomsudvikling, og mange spillere, der er kommet gennem klubbens akademi, har gået videre til at spille på højere niveauer, herunder den brasilianske landsholdsspiller Anderson Talisca.

Klubbens farver er orange, hvid og blå, og deres hjemmebane er Estádio Municipal Parque do Arvoredo i Nova Hartz.
