Scarletts trænes af Jason Jelinek, som har været holdets træner siden 2017. Holdet spiller sine hjemmebanekampe i Keating Sports Center i Chicago.

Illinois Tech er et historisk stærkt basketballhold og har vundet to NCAA Division III mesterskaber i 1987 og 1990. Holdet har også vundet 10 NACC Conference titler og 10 NACC Tournament titler.
