Hills United Football Club, also known as the Hills Brumbies, is a soccer club based in the Hills District, New South Wales, Australia. They currently play in the National Premier Leagues NSW competition, the top flight of New South Wales football.
History
Hills United SC, which later became known as Hills United Brumbies FC, is a club that was formed in the mid-1990s through a partnership between Castle Hill United and Baulkham Hills Soccer Club, to create a pathway for elite and representative footballers in the Hills District. The club began playing out of Fred Caterson Reserve, before in the early 2000s moving to Oakville Oval for a few seasons, followed by a season at Blacktown Sports Park, before landing at their current home at Lilys Football Centre, shared with Blacktown City FC.[]
Brumbies har en række bemærkelsesværdige resultater gennem klubbens historie. De vandt NPL NSW 2-mesterskabet i 2016 og var også mestre i NSW State League i 1999 og 2004. Klubben har også nået finalen i FFA Cup (Australiens pokalturnering) to gange, i 2016 og 2019.
Hills Brumbies er kendt for deres stærke ungdomsakademi, der har produceret en række spillere, der har spillet på det australske landshold. Klubben har også et stærkt forhold til Sydney FC, et af de mest succesrige hold i A-League, Australiens øverste division.
