The Segunda División Profesional is the second division of professional football in Uruguay, established in 1942. The league is sometimes referred to as Primera B. In 1942, the Segunda División was established to replace the amateur Divisional Intermedia, establishing a professional league for lower divisions in Uruguay.

The most successful clubs are Fénix and Sud América with seven titles. The current champion is Miramar Misiones.

Uruguay - Segunda er en uruguayansk fodboldturnering for holdene under Primera División. Den organiseres af Uruguays fodboldforbund (AUF) og har været spillet siden 1994. Turneringen spilles i to faser, en åbnings- og en lukningsfase. I åbningsfasen deles holdene op i to grupper på 12 hold, som spiller en dobbeltrunde mod hinanden. De øverste seks hold fra hver gruppe går videre til lukningsfasen, mens de nederste fire hold fra hver gruppe rykker ned til Tercera División. I lukningsfasen spiller holdene mod hinanden i en enkelt rundtur, og de to bedste hold rykker op til Primera División.
