Wikipedia - Kuwait Emir Cup

The Kuwait Amir/Emir Cup (Arabic: كأس أمير الكويت) is a Kuwaiti football competition created in 1962. The Emir Cup, is the last football competition held in the Kuwaiti football season.

Al Arabi SC hold the record of being the only team to reach the final 11 consecutive times, from1962 up to 1972 .

Kuwait - Pokal er en årlig fodboldturnering i Kuwait, der blev oprettet i 1962. Turneringen er åben for alle kuwaitiske klubber og afvikles i cupformat med én kamp på udebane. Vinderen af Kuwait - Pokal får adgang til AFC Cup, den næststørste klubturnering i Asien.

Nogle af de mest succesfulde hold i Kuwait - Pokals historie omfatter Kuwait SC, Al-Arabi SC og Qadsia SC. Kuwait SC har vundet turneringen flest gange (15), efterfulgt af Al-Arabi SC (8) og Qadsia SC (7).

Kuwait - Pokal er en af de mest prestigefyldte fodboldturneringer i Kuwait og tiltrækker hvert år et stort antal tilskuere. Turneringen er også en vigtig del af det kuwaitiske fodboldsystem, da den giver klubberne en mulighed for at teste deres formåen mod hinanden og vinde et trofæ.
